Lowered Ford Mustang New Edge on BC Coilovers & ESR CS11 Wheels

Lowered Ford Mustang New Edge on BC Coilovers & ESR CS11 Wheels

We’re continuing the series of features dedicated to the New Edge Mustangs, and today we would like to showcase another clean and stylish build tastefully put together by @2v_risas. It features a lot of time-tested add-ons that make the New Edge look better than new.

The owner started with a blank canvas – a bone stock 2001 GT powered by a 4.6L V2 engine – and upgraded it with the coolest mods available on the aftermarket.

The car has been resprayed with grey custom paint which looks particularly well in combination with numerous subtle carbon fiber parts such as Carbon driven Terminator wing, AIT racing cowl hood (wrapped in CF), MagicDrift front lip, Carbon Driven rocker panels, VIS trunk, mirrors, grille, and Pony logo. Among other notable exterior mods is the 03/04 Cobra Terminator bumper with round fogs – a must-have upgrade for every New Edge build.

“The carbon fiber theme continues inside with Carbon Driven upgrades, Darkhorse carbon passenger airbag delete, and a Ford Performance steering wheel.”

Lowered Ford Mustang New Edge on BC coilovers

A set of BC coilovers was installed to lower the suspension, improve the handling and achieve that striking “low stance” look. It sits on a set of staggered ESR CS11 deep dish wheels sized 18×9.5 on the front and 18×10.5 on the rear with 265 and 295 tires respectively.

Except for the striking looks, this New Edge build has also got some interesting upgrades under the hood that include BBK high flow throttle body, K&N cold air intake, Mishimoto silicon hoses, Stage 2 Exedy cluch with the lightweight flywheel and 13“ brake rotors with Cobra breaks to improve the stopping power.

The owner of this SN95 New Edge Mustang has managed to build the perfect example of what a New Edge should be. It combines the coolest aftermarket upgrades that make it up to date, even compared with the newer Mustang generations. This car is sure to turn heads wherever it goes, and it’s a credit to its owner for building such a perfect example of a modern classic.
