If you’re looking for a car to start your Mustang modification project, the fourth-generation Ford Mustang, code-named the SN95, is a great option. It ran from 1994 to 2004 and featured a significant redesign in 1999 that propelled the Mustang into the era of “modern cars.” Even though it looked more modern, it still stayed true to its heritage. In addition to the V8 used in the GT, new more powerful engines were introduced for special editions like the Cobra. The Cobra was first introduced in 1994 and was equipped with numerous styling and performance upgrades.

The Ford Mustang Cobra is a high-performance model that was built on the success of the Mustang GT. The Special Vehicle Team (SVT) developed this model for the 1994 and 1995 model years, with modifications to the 5.0L V8 engine, suspension, and brakes. These changes resulted in a car that was even more powerful and capable than the GT. The 1996-1998 Cobras were equipped with Ford’s modular 4.6 L DOHC V8 engine, which produced 305 hp and 300 lb⋅ft of torque, which was just enough to become one of the coolest muscle cars available on the market.
