If you’re looking for a car to start your Mustang modification project, the fourth-generation Ford Mustang, code-named the SN95, is a great option. It ran from 1994 to 2004 and featured a significant redesign in 1999 that propelled the Mustang into the era of “modern cars.” Even though it looked more modern, it still stayed true to its heritage. In addition to the V8 used in the GT, new more powerful engines were introduced for special editions like the Cobra. The Cobra was first introduced in 1994 and was equipped with numerous styling and performance upgrades.
The Ford Mustang Cobra is a high-performance model that was built on the success of the Mustang GT. The Special Vehicle Team (SVT) developed this model for the 1994 and 1995 model years, with modifications to the 5.0L V8 engine, suspension, and brakes. These changes resulted in a car that was even more powerful and capable than the GT. The 1996-1998 Cobras were equipped with Ford’s modular 4.6 L DOHC V8 engine, which produced 305 hp and 300 lb⋅ft of torque, which was just enough to become one of the coolest muscle cars available on the market.
This laser red 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra is a true eye-catcher. The owner bought it bone stock and has done all the work on it himself, ensuring that it’s built the right way with only high-quality parts. He has detailed every inch of this car and it is always kept clean and well-maintained.
This Cobra is packed with power and performance upgrades that make it a true powerhouse on the road. It has an upgraded suspension, larger brakes, a high-flow exhaust system, and more. This car is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
Suspension & Wheels
Eibach front and rear lowering springs provide a sleek and stylish drop in ride height, while Koni shock absorbers offer superior performance and handling. Additionally, Bilstein quad shocks were installed to improve the stability and handling of the vehicle. The brake system was also upgraded with brand new calipers and slotted and drilled performance rotors. Finally, BBK upper and lower control arms complete the suspension upgrade and provide improved handling characteristics.
This SN95 Ford Mustang Cobra has been modified with a set of rear Toyo tires measuring 315/35r17 and front ones measuring 245/45r17. In addition, the car has been fitted with a set of racing wheels, providing improved performance and handling.
